- Dr. Rinehardt's forensic private practice primarily consists of Independent Neuropsychological Evaluations or Independent Medical Evaluations (IMEs) for the following reasons:
- Disability determination for insurance companies
- Workers' compensation claims
- Civil or criminal litigation such as personal injury or capacity determination (e.g., medical record review, consultation, and expert witness testimony)
Non-Forensic Services
- Academic Evaluations for Learning Disorders (LD) and Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)
- Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Neuropsychological Evaluations
Dr. Eric Rinehardt

Dr. Rinehardt is a board certified clinical neuropsychologist in Charlotte, North Carolina. He is the lead neuropsychologist at Carolinas Rehabilitation where he evaluates individuals with a broad range of central nervous system (e.g., brain) disorders including concussion, traumatic brain injury, stroke, epilepsy, Parkinson's disease, brain tumor, mild cognitive impairment, and dementia (e.g., Alzheimer's disease).
In addition, Dr. Rinehardt assesses inpatients at both Carolinas Rehabilitation and Carolinas Medical Center to determine capacities.
